Diversity & Inclusion Teen Program with Kendo Books In-Person

Have you ever felt too young to achieve your wildest dreams or been told to wait until you got older to make a difference?

All of the young people featured in the incredible book, Diversity & Inclusion are between the ages of 13 and 25. All of them faced discouraging comments yet they continue to excel in their chosen field be it art, business, mental health advocacy, environmentalist movements, LGBTQ activism among many other disciplines!

By attending this program, you can:

*Leverage the investment strategy that a high school senior used to make millions in the stock market.

*Draw inspiration from a teen artist that got her creative work into the MET.

*Deepen feelings of empathy after reviewing the experience of a young engineer whose “Smart Gloves” translate sign language into audio speech.

*Question self-doubt after witnessing a young woman who is deaf/blind yet graduated from Harvard Law School and in her spare time climbs icebergs, fights bulls, and paddle boards.

*Develop innovative solutions after watching a young scientist who is saving millions of lives in post op by utilizing vegetable juice.

BONUS: Learn to play Mancala, an ancient game of strategy that was developed in Africa over 3,000 years ago.

So, if you’re an inquisitive young person that values cultivating diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in our society, we welcome you to join us for this FANTASTIC program!
