Music Program: "Woody Guthrie in His Own Words"

Music Program: "Woody Guthrie in His Own Words"

Woody Guthrie was America's greatest troubadour. During his relatively short life, he crisscrossed the country writing and performing songs aimed at improving the image of the Forgotten People -- the underdogs. He left us with a trove of great music. This program will highlight some of his best songs but with a twist. The introductions to the songs, to be read aloud, will be Woody's own words.

This program was researched, created and performed by Ol' Paint, a trio of seasoned musicians -- Neia Lively (guitar, banjo, ukulele, vocals), Phil Knoerzer (guitar, banjo, harmonica, vocals) and Tom Naples (guitar, banjo, vocals).
