Storyteller Program: Adopt-a-Teller
Join us for a free 45-minute live performance of storytelling by Willa Brigham that will entertain, inspire, educate. Willa Brigham, is an avid writer of short stories, poetry and songs. She is the host and TV personality of the Emmy winning television show, "Smart Start Kids" produced by WRAL-TV and a nationally recognized speaker. This performance is part of the National Association of Black Storytellers’ Adopt-A-Teller Community Outreach Program (AATP). AATP is being held during the 42ndst Annual National Black Storytelling Festival and Conference based at the Embassy Suites Buffalo, 200 Delaware Avenue, October 23- Oct 27. The festival is sponsored by the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. and supported by a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts, and the Nora Roberts Foundation.
