CANCELLED Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Walk at Sprague Brook Park In-Person
CANCELLED - We apologize for the invonvience.
Join members from Grow With Springville for a guided walk at Sprague Brook Park. We will be on the lookout for Hemlock Woolly Adelgid as we talk about this threat to our local forests. We will also share information on how smartphone apps such as iNaturalist and iMapInvasives can be used as tools for citizen science. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Attendance at the January workshop on HWA is encouraged but not required.
This program is a collaboration with the library and Grow With Springville - a volunteer collaborative focusing on the advocacy and implementation of future-focused policies and projects that enhance the vibrancy of downtown, support our natural environment, and promote the quality of life in our community and surrounding area. We partner with other community groups and stakeholders to achieve common goals
