NYS Taxpayer Assistance Program In-Person

New York State Department of Taxation and Finance hosts a Taxpayer Assistance Program on Fridays from February 7th through April 11th, 2025* (**no session on 3/7/2025) in the meeting room at the Orchard Park Library. Tax Department employees will walk you through your income tax returns as you complete your own tax return. It's quick and easy! We'll help you prepare and e-file your income tax return in person. In partnership with Orchard Park Public Library, sessions are available on Fridays at either 9:15am, 12:15pm or 2:45pm on the following dates:

February 7th-February 28th & March 14th-April 11th

You must pre-register and schedule an appointment. For information, a list of necessary documents or to schedule a session, contact the Orchard Park Public Library at 716-662-9851 or visit us in person. 

  • Use on-site computers, or your own laptop, tablet or mobile device.
  • You only need basic computer skills and an active email account.
  • If you earned $84,000 or less in 2024, you qualify for this free service.
  • Safe and secure online tax software.

Registration for this program begins on Friday January 10th.
