Drum Workshop presented by the African American Cultural Center In-Person
Join us for an opportunity for developing self-confidence, cultural awareness and creative expression! This class is taught by a drummer teaching artist from the African-American Cultural Center’s Dance & Drum Performance Company. Participants will learn the fundamentals of traditional West African drumming, basic African drumming technique, and its connection to modern music. Recommended for families and individuals ages 6 & over. Registration is required - register online or call 716-662-9851 to sign up.
