For every minute spent reading equals 1 entry for the contest. You must log a minimum of 60 minutes to qualify for the prizes. Yeah! Happy Reading!

If you participated in our Winter Reading Contest, you will have to create a new profile with a new user name and password for the Summer Reading Contest. All participants’ records are deleted shortly after the conclusion of the contests each season. 

*Please keep in mind that the maximum amount of minutes you can log in one day is 1,000 minutes.

*Please provide an email address that you check regularly.

Participation Rules

This contest is open to adults ages 18 and up who are New York State residents and are able to pick up the prize physically from one of our 37 locations.

Prizes

There will be one system-wide winner for the Adult Category. The prize is a $100.00 gift card from ONE of the following stores: Aldi’s, Tops, Walmart or Wegmans

There will also be one winner at each participating branch. The branch prize is an Amazon $25

gift card. A random drawing will choose each winner. If the winner does not claim their prize

within 30 days of notification, the B&ECPL has the discretion to withdraw the prize entirely.

Winners will be notified by email or telephone after the contest concludes.

Library staff are not eligible to participate.
