In this quirky, high-energy tale, four misfit teens are unexpectedly pulled through a shimmering portal into a bizarre, cube-shaped universe. The world is unlike anything they've seen—every mountain, tree, and creature is made of blocks, and survival depends on creativity, resourcefulness, and teamwork.
Guided by a rugged expert crafter named Steve (played by Jack Black), the group must navigate treacherous terrain, fend off explosive monsters, and uncover ancient artifacts like the Orb of Dominance and the Earth Crystal. Their goal? To find a way back home before the blocky realm collapses into chaos.
