The American Revolution 250

Join us for our free presentation of reenactors, crafts, music, and taste samples of foods and learn what it was like during the American Revolution! There is no registration required.
Presentation at 1:00 PM in the Ring of Knowledge we will show a 45-minute screener version of The American Revolution.
At 3:00 PM we will have five different perspectives on the American Revolution in New York from five characters in period attire from Old Fort Niagara:
  1. British Redcoat – a member of the garrison of Fort Niagara
  2. Haudenosaunee warrior
  3. Loyalist refugee
  4. American Continental soldier
  5. Elizabeth Gilbert - a captive at Fort Niagara
 
This November, Ken Burns will provide us with an 6-part series on the subject on PBS. The premiere is scheduled for 2025, which marks the 250th anniversary of the start of the war in April 1775.
