VITA Tax Assistance
Need help filing your taxes? Starting Monday, February 2nd from 1pm-4pm VITA will be holding appointments for free tax assistance on Mondays and Wednesdays at the West Seneca Public Library. Appointments are required and walk-ins will not be accepted. You can make an appointment by calling 2-1-1 or by visiting https://www.freetaxbuffalo.com or scanning the QR code on the flyer.. You cannot make an appointment by contacting the library. You must bring the following to your appointment: government ID or drivers license; social security cards are REQUIRED for everyone on the return; all income information including Social Security Statements, interest and dividend; Health Insurance form 1095; day care payment information; IRS Letters Bank Information for Direct Deposit; last year’s tax return; and real estate tax bill. IMPORTANT: You must bring a completed intake form – available at the West Seneca Public Library or on the web at https://freetaxbuffalo.com
