Kung Fu Basics / Ancient Movement Workshop In-Person

Get moving this Young Audiences Week/Spring Break! Kristin Brandt of Arts for Learning of WNY presents Ancient Movement.

Geared for 4-14 years old with their families! Only 30 spots are available, so reserve your spot ahead of time! Walk-ins welcome if space is available.

Join Master Teaching Artist Kristin Brandt for an engaging workshop exploring ancient techniques of movement and awareness - and take home a free Arts Integration Kit, distributed at the event while supplies last, to continue the creative experience at home!

This free program, hosted at the Isaías González-Soto Branch Library, is a fun and interactive way for the whole family to discover peaceful stances, breathwork, and artful movement inspired by the animals of Kung Fu and the stances of Shaolin.

Arts for Learning WNY Master Teaching Artist Kristin Brandt will guide participants as they explore these ancient practices, offering a hands-on experience that is both enjoyable and mindful.

This event is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Josephine Goodyear Foundation and the City of Buffalo Common Council Members.

We can’t wait to see you there!
