WNY Author Michael Hawley: A lecture on Dr. Francis Tumblety

Francis Tumblety was mentioned as a Ripper suspect by former Detective Chief Inspector John Littlechild of the Metropolitan Police in a letter to journalist and author George R. Sims, dated 23 September 1913. It was discovered for sale in an antiquarian bookshop in Richmond-upon-Thames. Littlechild suspected Tumblety because of his previous criminal record. Author Michael Hawley will discuss one of the more talked about recent Jack the Ripper suspects in his presentation at the Clarence Public Library.
