Join the TechKnow Lab at the downtown Central Library on December 12, 2019 for a Binge Learning event covering the basics of Microsoft Word.  There will be two introductory classes designed for participants who have no or little experience using Microsoft Word.  

Skill Level: Basic
Requirements: Mouse and typing skills

Part I (10am-12pm)
This is an introduction to the basic functions in Microsoft Word, a word processing program. Practice your typing and mouse skills and learn how to save a document.  Learn basic formatting and copy & pasting. 

Part II (1pm-3pm)
Learn how to insert different elements in Word including tables, images, text boxes, and more.  You will then format these elements to create a finished document -- a flyer!  You'll also learn other tips & tricks to make you a better Word user.
