Maker Camp Kits (ages 8-12)

Stop into the Kids' Space at the Central Library for a Maker Camp Kit, geared toward ages 8-12.

Different theme every Saturday July 24th - August 28th.

July 24th - Use Area and Perimeter to design your own zoo!

July 31st - Explore the science of polymers and experiment with Instant Sno!

August 7th - Learn more about polymers with Hydrophobic Sand!

August 14th - Use the engineering design process to learn about hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymers, and make your own bouncy ball!

August 21st - Grow your own herbs, and keep cool while you do it!

August 28th - Our friends from National Grid will be helping us create awesome things out of conductive clay!

While supplies last, one kit per child. Kits are first come, first served and may not be reserved.

Videos that complement kit activities will be premiered on Facebook and YouTube.

Funds for Maker Camp are generously provided by National Grid.
