In this case study, Sandra follows a clue in her great-grandmother’s death certificate and presents documentation to support Asa Carrington as her 2nd great-grandfather.

This class is in partnership with the Buffalo Genealogical Society of the African Diaspora (BGSAD).

Sandra Williams Bush has been researching her family history for over twenty years. She is a member of several genealogy groups, including the Buffalo Genealogical Society of the African Diaspora (BGSAD). Sandra chronicles her genealogy research in her blog: Ancestor Callings: Georgia and Mississippi Roots. She also has family stories in the recently published book, Kindred Stories: Genealogy and Family Histories by BGSAD members. Sandra is a retired librarian.
