Virtual (Online) Exploring the History of Crime in Buffalo: Part I Virtual

From the first murder in Buffalo (1802), to the Thayer Brothers grisly slaying, to the Blonde Bandit’s wild antics. From the pulpy to the heinous to the bizarre. On October 28th 2021, at 2pm the Grosvenor Room Special Collections will be giving a Zoom presentation on the history of crime in Buffalo, NY. The talk will highlight fascinating and strange tales throughout the city’s history, while showing off the Grosvenor Room’s local history resources. This will be the first of a two part series, covering the 1800s – approximately the 1950s. The second part will cover the 1960s to present day.​

This presentation will be held via Zoom. A free Zoom account is necessary to attend the program (www.zoom.com).
