DESCRIPTION:New York State Department of Taxation and Finance volunteers 
 will be visiting the Downtown Central Library in person to help assist 
 patron in filing their taxes for the 2024 tax season.\n\nThe filing itself 
 will be done on a computer through TaxSlayer\, so having an email address 
 setup as well as knowing your actual email address and password beforehand 
 is important.  \n\nAlso make sure to bring any relevant tax documents to 
 help facilitate the process.\n\nRegistration is required.  Contact 
 716-858-8900 to register.  Registration begins Thursday\, January 2. \n\n6 
 slots are available in this session.  Appointment times run every 15 
 minutes starting at 9:30am.\n\nNo walk-ins.\n\nThis is for the 
 9:30am-10:45am morning session.
